The Awakener: The Story of YH Brenner, 2015.

Studio Potemkin provided animated sequences for a TV documentary on the Life of Yosef Haim Brenner, a prominent figure in Hebrew language literature. It was directed by Yair Qedar.

 

This project led our animation and special effects studio down the path of limited animation as a way to create maximum dramatic impact with minimum character animation. Later on, this technique proved particularly useful in limited budget projects involving various styles and levels of complexity.
